Country Cornbread Dressing
Fixings:
1 Cup(s) hacked celery
1 Cup(s) hacked onion
1/4 Cup(s) (1/2 stick) spread or stick margarine, dissolved
1 pan(s) white or yellow hoe cake, cooled and disintegrated (around 6 cups)
1 Can(s) (13 to 15 oz) chicken stock
1 egg, beaten
2 to 3 Teaspoon(s) Poultry preparing
1/4 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1/8 Teaspoon(s) pepper
Directions
Preheat stove to 350° F. In medium fry dish, saute celery and onion in softened spread until delicate, around 5 minutes. In huge bowl, consolidate celery combination with johnnycake, stock, egg, poultry preparing, salt and pepper. Throw daintily until bread is totally saturated. Place in all around lubed or splashed 1-1/2 quart goulash or 8-inch square baking dish. Cover with top or aluminum foil. Prepare 30 minutes. Eliminate cover and keep baking 15 to 20 minutes longer or until inner temperature arrives at 160° F. Cool. Partake in the Country Cornbread Dressing plans !!!
